What is Scout & Seek?
It's a real-world scavenger-hunt app for families, classrooms, homeschoolers, and youth groups. Kids spot and find things on themed hunts — at home, on a nature walk, on a road trip, or at the zoo and museum.
What ages is it for?
It's built for kids to enjoy together with a parent, teacher, or group leader. Accounts are created and managed by an adult, and grown-ups stay involved throughout.
Is it safe? Are there ads?
Yes, and no ads. Scout & Seek has no third-party advertising and no behavioral tracking. Discovery photos stay on your device, and purchases and settings sit behind a grown-ups-only gate.
Is it free?
Scout & Seek is free to start. Optional subscriptions unlock more: Premium ($4.99/mo or $34.99/yr) for families & homeschoolers, and Groups ($9.99/mo or $79.99/yr) for teachers & troop leaders. Both include a 7-day free trial.
What's the difference between Premium and Groups?
Premium unlocks the full quest library, venue packs, custom quests, nature journal, mindful seek, homeschool packs, the family hub, and all printables. Groups includes everything in Premium plus teacher/troop tools — dashboards, head counts, buddy pairs, group records, and invite codes.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Scout & Seek. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Do kids spend real money in the app?
No. In-game companions and titles are unlocked with points kids earn by playing — never real money. The only real-money items are the optional adult subscriptions, which are protected behind the grown-ups gate.
Can we use it without cell signal?
Many hunts work great outdoors and on the go. We also offer printable hunts so kids can play with paper and pencil when there's no phone or signal.
How do families or groups play together?
Create a family or group and invite members with a simple code. You can share custom hunts and track everyone's progress. We ask you to use first names only for children.
How do I delete my data?
Email us from your account address and we'll remove your account and associated data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
